Here are some Italieri Crusaders I recently acquired (supported by some Airfix Robin Hood bowmen).
I'm still deciding on a rule set to use with large numbers of medieval figures (WRG, Warhammer Ancient Battles,
etc) but for smaller sized armies I will definitely use DBA. I aim to build a DBA army for every army in the DBA
Army List that is of interest to me.

Some beautifully painted Italieri Mongols I recently acquired.
These were painted by Lesley Miller, a very talented lady from the UK. You can see more of her work at her website below
(primarily 25mm fantasy figures):
I suggest you check out Nick Grant's superb site dedicated to Wargaming with 20mm plastic figures using DBA or
DBM rules:
Also, the DBLCHM Yahoo Group, devoted to collecting, and Wargaming with 20mm plastic figures:
As an example, below is a pic I have lifted from Nick's site showing a Later Crusader DBA Army using 20mm plastic
figures, built by Tony de Lyall. Great stuff, and exactly what I am wanting to do:
One of my favourite books on Wargaming and the Crusades:
